PSTA Makes Parade Day Easy with Free Rides and Parking Options
Fare-free transit and Park & Ride lots available June 28
Pinellas County, FL— The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) is making it easier to get to the parade route in Downtown St. Petersburg on Saturday, June 28, 2025, by offering free rides on select routes and access to two free Park & Ride lots.
To support community access and reduce traffic congestion around this major event, the following PSTA services will be fare-free all day on June 28:
- SunRunner
- Central Avenue Trolley
- Route 9
Park & Ride Options:
St. Petersburg High School
Board a free shuttle to and from Downtown
- Free parking available from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.
- Vehicles must be removed by midnight
- No overnight parking allowed
Tropicana Field – Lots 6 & 7
Ride the free SunRunner to and from Downtown
- Free parking presented by the Tampa Bay Rays
- Open from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.
- No overnight parking allowed
For the closest access to the parade route, ride the SunRunner to its 3rd Street S. or 1st Street N. stations.
In addition, PSTA will provide a free cooling bus parked at Sunday’s Grand Central Street Fair. From noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Central Avenue and 22nd Street, visitors can step onto the bus and into the air conditioning, getting a break from the heat and learning about PSTA’s new Connected Community Bus Network.
