PSTA Bus Operator Wins ‘Best of the Bay’ at Regional Bus Roadeo
Terall Beery will Move on to the State Roadeo March 31st – April 1st
St. Petersburg, FL – Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) bus operator, Terall Beery, won the Regional Bus Roadeo today. Berry competed against nearly 30 other drivers from Hillsborough, Manatee and Sarasota counties. Contestants had to drive through an obstacle course with tight turns, stopping at bus stops and backing up a 40-foot bus, all while completing the course in under 7 minutes.
“We are so proud of Terall and all of our PSTA bus operators,” said Brad Miller, Chief Executive Officer of PSTA. “Our drivers are the heart and soul of what we do, and we wouldn’t be here without all of them. Thank you to our friends at Hillsborough, Manatee and Sarasota for participating in this fantastic competition!”
Other winners were James Pleasant, of PSTA, coming in third and Crystal Edwards from HART coming in second. Berry will move on to compete at the State Roadeo from March 31st through April 1st in Orlando.
